Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer

A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking an experienced ECandI Engineer, Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer or ECIA Engineer to join their growing project delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex industrial infrastructure projects, taking responsibility for the electrical, control, instrumentation and automation aspects of projects from concept through to commissioning. You''ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within regulated industrial environments.Excellent Benefits, Car Allowance and Hybrid WorkingKey ResponsibilitiesThe ECandI Engineer / Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer / ECIA Engineer will take responsibility for ECandI design activities throughout the project lifecycle.Produce electrical and instrumentation schedules, specifications and technical documentation.Develop control system requirements and user requirement specifications (URS).Review and approve subcontractor designs, drawings and technical submissions.The ECandI Engineer / ECIA Engineer will support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and supplier selection.Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and equipment inspections for switchboard, MCC and PLC/ HMI softwareProvide technical support during installation and commissioning phases and attend client and project meetings, including occasional site visits.Support tendering ..... full job details .....
