– DevonUp to £90,000 + BenefitsReference 103820Looking for a new challenge to deliver one of the most prestigious projects in the South West?RGB Recruitment Ltd are partnering with one of the UK’s leading building services providers. The company has won the MEP package on a highly anticipated, large scale construction scheme and is looking to appoint a high-calibre Electrical Contracts Manager to lead the team on this complex project which will be on site until 2028. Initially based from the Exeter office on the pre-construction phase with a total contract value of over £150m, you will develop briefs, programmes and cost plans with the project team before mobilising to site, which you will oversee and deliver.

Responsibilities

Project managing the electrical aspects of the scheme to timelines and budgetsEnsuring high levels of quality and health and safetyProduce detailed plans, programmes and schedulesEnsure all documentation is meticulously recorded and maintained including contracts, changes and progress reportsSourcing, managing and developing a high performing teamLiaising with the client as their first point of contact, building a strong working relationship and ensuring excellent levels of client care and satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous management experience in an MEP contracting environmentA proven track record in delivering complex, multi-million pound construction schemesCore Electrical Qualifications: 236 Part 1 and 2 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and City and Guilds 2391 – Inspection and Testing certificationStrong technical knowledge of systems, codes and regulationsSite and HandS certificates including CSCS and SMSTSWorking knowledge and understanding of NEC forms of contract
