Electrical Contracts Manager

An Electrical Contracts Manager specializing in retail and supermarkets ensures the efficient delivery of electrical projects from inception to completion. They oversee installations, maintenance, and compliance works in fast-paced retail environments, ensuring minimal disruption to trading.-

Core Responsibilities

• Project Delivery:-Manage multiple electrical projects, including installation, commissioning, and testing, often working on fast-track retail refurbishment or new-build projects.
• Site Supervision & Safety:-Ensure compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, health and safety standards (RAMS), and site audits.
• Team Leadership:-Lead and manage site staff, electrical technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and high-quality work.
• Commercial & Financial Control:-Responsible for project budgets, cost control, procurement of materials, variation management, and achieving final account agreement.
• Client Liaison:-Act as the primary contact for supermarket clients, managing expectations, attending progress meetings, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Compliance & Technical:-Manage compliance services such as EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), emergency lighting testing, and thermal imaging.-
