Electrical Contracts Manager Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent We are looking for an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join a growing business based in St Albans, managing electrical works predominantly within the social housing sector. This is an office-based role with regular site visits to monitor projects, support teams and ensure works are being delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard. You will work closely with the Directors and take responsibility for the operational and commercial management of electrical contracts. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple electrical contracts across social housing projects. Oversee EICR, LD1 and associated electrical works. Manage and motivate engineers, supervisors and subcontractors. Drive productivity and encourage teams to improve start dates, programme and delivery. Monitor site performance, quality, health and safety and compliance. Carry out regular site visits and inspections. Manage programmes, resources and project delivery. Act as the company''s QS / technical lead where required. Take responsibility for NICEIC, PAS 2030 and other relevant compliance requirements. Manage client relationships and attend meetings where required. Review costs, variations, valuations and overall commercial performance.
