We are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 contractor looking to appoint a Construction Manager to oversee a flagship laboratory and teaching facility project in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a technically demanding build from early stages to completion.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are met
Manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with design and specification
Coordinate closely with the M&E teams, particularly on electrical works
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
Lead progress meetings, reporting back on timelines, issues, and resource needs
Proven experience as a Construction Manager on projects with significant electrical packages
Tier 1 or main contractor experience preferred
Strong understanding of laboratory, educational, or other high-spec building environments
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
Ability to lead on both quality and programme
Salary up to £70,000 for permanent candidates
