The Electrical Commissioning Technician position come with a day rate from -400.00 to -475.00 outside of IR35. Role responsibilities and key skills for the role: Hands-on commissioning of electrical components and systems such as, transformers, medium/low voltage switchgears, DC systems, rectifiers, inverters, motorized valves, instruments etc. Fully competent at using Primary & Secondary Injection test set equipment. Assist the commissioning engineers in carrying out testing on electrical systems and equipment, as well as system optimization and troubleshooting and filling-in the respective commissioning documentation and protocols Participation in the walk-downs for Turnover from construction to commissioning, identifying open items that prevent system start-up. Preparation of the site for the electrical team to plan ahead for site works. Report to the Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer for this project.
