The Opportunity
A respected UK manufacturer specialising in low-energy HVAC and ventilation solutions is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support projects throughout the North East region.
This is a field-based position focused on commissioning, servicing and fault-finding across a diverse portfolio of commercial installations. The successful candidate will work on technically advanced ventilation systems used within sectors such as education, healthcare and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission electrical and mechanical ventilation systems.
  • Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose electrical and control system faults.
  • Perform repairs, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Configure HVAC and building control systems.
  • Complete all commissioning reports and technical documentation.
  • Build effective working relationships with contractors, consultants and clients.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to specification.

About You
You will ideally possess:
  • Experience commissioning, servicing or maintaining HVAC, ventilation or building services equipment.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls and building management systems.
  • ECS Card.
  • CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and site activities.

Desirable
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • BACnet controls experience.
  • Commercial ventilation commissioning experience.
