Electrical Commissioning Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support water infrastructure projects on a contract basis. The role will involve commissioning, testing and inspecting electrical systems across operational water-sector sites, ensuring that installations are safe, compliant and ready for service. Previous experience within the water sector is essential.Key Responsibilities:Commissioning electrical systems and equipment across water treatment and infrastructure projectsCarrying out electrical testing, inspections and functional checksReviewing commissioning documentation, test results and project recordsIdentifying faults and supporting the resolution of electrical and commissioning issuesWorking closely with project, engineering and site teams to meet commissioning requirementsEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures and relevant industry standardsSupporting the safe handover of completed electrical installationsJob Requirements:Previous electrical commissioning experience within the water sectorStrong electrical engineering knowledge and practical commissioning skillsValid CSCS cardExperience of electrical testing and inspection is desirableUnderstanding of site health and safety requirementsAbility to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and commissioning documentationStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault findingAbility to work effectively with contractors, engineers and wider project ..... full job details .....
