Electrical Assembly TechnicianLocation: Gosport, Hampshire Contract: 6-month contract (likely to be extended) IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Start Date: Immediate Hours: 37 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 6:00pm (4-day week, on site) Pay Rate: Up to 23 per hour PAYE ( 26 per hour including holiday pay) or 31 per hour UmbrellaThe RoleWe are recruiting an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our Electrical Assembly department, supporting the build of specialist aircraft lighting products. You will work as part of a skilled team and must also be capable of working independently when required. Due to the nature of this role, candidates MUST hold a British Passport, have proven experience assembling aircraft or military products, and be eligible and willing to undergo Security Clearance (SC). This role is fully site-based, four days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical and mechanical assembly of aircraft and military-grade productsWiring, soldering, and crimping to approved aviation and defence standardsApplication of sealants, adhesives, and potting compoundsAccurate completion of job cards and maintenance of full material traceabilityReading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematicsMandatory Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience assembling aircraft or military products (essential)Proven background in electrical and mechanical assemblyAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsCompetence in wiring, ..... full job details .....
