Electrical Assembly Technician

Pertemps are currently recruiting for skilled Electrical Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team based in Tipton.
This is a full-time, on-site role working within a fast-paced production environment, assembling and fitting specialist industrial equipment to high quality standards. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting production targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial equipment
• Working from engineering drawings, work instructions and quality documentation
• Using air, electric and manual tools safely and effectively
• Completing fitting and assembly work to required torque settings and specifications
• Diagnosing and resolving basic mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience within mechanical or electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic or electrical components
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Own tools preferred

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)

Pay & Benefits

• £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period
• Monthly shop floor bonus available when production targets are achieved
