Electrical Assembly Team Lead

Sick of leading a team without actually being allowed to lead? If you’re stuck firefighting without support, chasing missing parts, or trying to hit build targets with zero planning time - this is your sign to bail. This isn’t just another “team leader” badge with no real authority. This role gives you the tools, trust, and backing to actually run the electrical assembly floor. Think resource planning, hands-on team development, process improvement, and owning delivery KPIs - for real. You’ll be joining a business that builds bespoke automation systems for big players in MedTech and life sciences. They’ve been doing it for over 30 years, and they’re not slowing down. They’re investing in people, tools, and new facilities - and Dublin’s going to be a key part of it. What makes this one different:
- You’re in the room where plans get made - project meetings, resource planning, delivery reviews
- You’ll manage a skilled crew of senior techs and sparkies across multiple projects
- They want your input - into tooling, training, hiring, and continuous improvement
- You won’t be stuck doing admin - they’ve got systems in place for tracking progress digitally
- Ownership - You’ll run the floor, shape the team, and steer delivery
- Progression - This is a lead role with room to grow into more strategic ops or project support
- Influence - Get your voice heard on design feedback, tooling changes, and process fixes
- Support - You’ll work directly with engineers, planners, and senior leadership - not just get handed a build sheet and left to crack on
- Real impact - Your work directly affects the quality, safety, and speed of what gets delivered
- You’ve got solid hands-on knowledge of electrical assembly in automation or special purpose machinery
- You’ve led a team before and know how to balance people, planning, and production
- You’re naturally organised, cool under pressure, and love fixing bottlenecks before they become full-blown fires
- You’re assertive, proactive, and not afraid to call out poor planning or process gaps
- You can use digital tools for scheduling and reporting, but still know how to get hands-on when needed
