Electrical Assembly Operative - Lightbar Build

I'm looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented skilled or semi-skilled Electrical assembly operative to join our lightbar build team.

The successful candidate will follow work instructions to assemble lightbars, electrical and electronic equipment, ensuring compliance with strict quality processes.

Additionally, they will perform various production tasks to meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

* Assemble lightbars and electronic components using various power tools.
* Follow detailed work instructions and drawings to ensure accurate and efficient production.
* Always adhere to quality processes and standards.
* Perform various production tasks as required to meet business needs.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Skills Required

* Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions including wiring schematics.
* Ability to work in a methodical manner.
* Work well within a team environment.
* Must be reliable.
* Follow a defined process.
* Attention to detail.
* Full colour vision required due to the electrical wiring element of the role.
* Previous electronic assembly experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.
* Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Benefits

21 days plus 8 statutory with more days accruing based on years service. Some days will be required to be retained to cover the Christmas period.

We operate a company pension scheme with the Company matching the employees contribution up to 5% of salary. As required by current legislation you would be automatically enrolled therein after three months.

We administer a Death in Service policy but sincerely hope that this would not be required!

Free on-site parking.
Working Hours

40 hours per week, Mon-Fri 7:30-16:00pm. This of course can be flexible to meet peoples needs.
