Electrical Assembler / Team Leader – Full-Time (39 hours per week)
Location: Malvern WR14
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
- Friday: 07:45 – 15:00
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Two paid short breaks (AM & PM)
- Starting at £12.78 per hour
- Opportunities to increase your hourly rate with additional responsibilities
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of water heaters, in line with build books, technical drawings, and management instruction
- Performing pressure and leak testing
- Conducting end-of-line function testing, including fault finding and basic rectification
- Working both independently and as part of a small, efficient team
- Maintaining high standards of quality and consistent repeatability in your work
- Following all health and safety protocols
- Carrying out other reasonable tasks across different areas of Production when required
- Soldering, Crimping, Electrical blueprint interpreting
- Gas appliance manufacturing
- Equipment or machinery assembly
- Complex mechanical builds, ideally with testing or team leadership experience
- Physically fit, as the role includes lifting and positioning heavier components
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and able to meet deadlines
- Reliable, trustworthy, and a strong team player
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings
- A strong communicator with a flexible approach – willing to support different areas such as electrical assembly, spares, sheet metal, or stores
- Organising labour and materials to meet or exceed production targets
- Supporting senior management with proactive planning and performance improvement
- Communicating clearly with management on production updates, team matters, and improvement opportunities
- Leading by example in professionalism, integrity, and company standards
- Managing team motivation, morale, and conflict resolution with discretion and fairness
- Maintaining adherence to Health & Safety and company policy at all times
- Taking ownership of problem-solving within your team or escalating appropriately
