Electrical Assembler

About the Company: A global manufacturing business with 4 manufacturing sites across the UK.Main Responsibilities:Build systems, sub-assemblies and piece parts for complex systems to required quality and ISO standardsEnsure BOM and customer specification requirements are metIdentify and resolve build issues efficientlyReport technical issues via the FRACAS processMaintain technical competence through ongoing trainingProvide build sequence guidance and support to the teamMentor and train junior techniciansPromote high standards of build cleanliness, housekeeping, and health and safety (including supporting 5S initiatives)Contribute to continuous improvement and production team performanceWork in accordance with the rotating shift schedule provided by the Team LeaderEssential Requirements:Experience building electrical systems, ideally for complex/special-purpose machineryStrong background in electrical wiring, including panel buildingAble to read and interpret electrical schematicsHands-on experience with:Control panelsMCBs, contactors, relaysInverter drives and PLCsCable crimping, soldering, and terminationExcellent attention to detail and fault-finding abilityCommitment to high-quality build standardsDesirable Qualifications:Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship16th/17th Edition Electrical qualificationHNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringCity and Guilds in Electrical/Electronic EngineeringOther relevant electrical qualificationsBenefits:Competitive ..... full job details .....
