Overview
Responsible for building high end Aviation seating switches and lighting products for, Qantas, Etihad, Emirates and British Airways Airlines.

Roles and Responsibility

Building and Testing of products by following assembly drawing and build specifications.

Ensure all parts are fully working through out the assembly of the product and report any manufacturing and or design errors.

Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally)

Skills

Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team (essential)

Ability to prioritise workload (essential)

Working within a fast paced environment (essential)

Attention to detail (essential)

Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal (essential).

Previous experience of working within another production assembly environment (desirable)

Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable)

Soldering experience (essential)

Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed (desirable)

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months with the opportunity to go permanent at the end of the contract


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
