Job Title: Electrical Assembler This is a temporary position, with a possibility for a permanent contract in the future if you get on well. Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk Hours: Monday and Tuesday: 6:00am -4:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday: 6:00am-3:45pmAbout the RoleOur client is seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Assembler to join their production team. This role involves the assembly, configuration, inspection, and testing of a range of electronic products. Working from engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, and Standard Operating Procedures, you will ensure products are built to the highest quality standards.This is a hands-on position requiring excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection, assembly, configuration, functional testing, and complete relevant documentation on electronic components, including Actuators, 8071/2 PID Controllers, and Positioner Boards.Assemble and test valves, switches, alternators, and controls into complete units or subassemblies when required.Interpret assembly drawings and Bills of Materials to ensure accuracy and a "right first time" approach.Pick materials against Bills of Materials, ensuring accuracy at all times.Work to company Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.Inspect products, identifying and escalating defects as necessary.Adapt positively to change and contribute to performance targets ..... full job details .....
