Role type : Permanent Full time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.Location : Site Based - North LondonThe role of Electrical and Solar Panel Engineer will be focusing on testing, inspection, and remedial work, covering both solar PV systems and fixed electrical installations (EICRs). You''ll be working across domestic and commercial sites to ensure compliance, safety, and system performance.What you''ll be doing

Conduct electrical testing and inspections on solar PV systems and fixed electrical installations (EICRs), including IV curve tracing and fault-findingCarry out remedial repairs and upgrades to ensure compliance with current regulationsComplete accurate service reports and client documentationAssist with the installation and commissioning of new solar PV and battery systems when requiredEnsure all work complies with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and MCS standardsWhat we''re looking for

Essential:Experience working with solar PV systems (especially maintenance and fault diagnosis)Full UK driving licenceDesirable:NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Inspection and Testing)MCS accreditation knowledgeExperience with G99/G100 applicationsBattery storage systemsFamiliarity with field service reporting/test softwareWhat we offer
