Role: Electrical and Mechanical Governance and Assurance Manager Position: Contract/PermamentLocation: HinkleY Point CDuration: Initial CED 31/12/2027Pay: up to 550 PAYE - 750 UmbrellaJob PurposeThe Electrical and Mechanical Governance and Assurance Manager is to be based at Hinkley Point C Nuclear power station. They will be responsible for ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, Company and Client policy and procedural compliance and have the utmost regard for staff, contractor, and public safety. This role will act as the Electrical Duty Holder and Safety Rules Champion for the Principal Contractor and will determine the strategic direction of the electrical and mechanical work areas.The Electrical and Mechanical Governance and Assurance Manager will be responsible to the Head of Site Risk Management and Control of Work utilising the Principal Contractor statutory requirements under the Construction (Design and Management) regulations to control and coordinate activities, to allow the safe execution of works on site at Hinkley Point C. This role will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of all activities at HPC involving the HV (high voltage) System and LV (low voltage) networks including installation, modifications and alterations, energisation, the transition between non-permanent and permanent electrical systems and the decommissioning of redundant systems and networks on site.
