You ll be responsible for the rewinding, repair, and testing of single phase and three phase AC motors, as well as small DC motors. The role also includes basic mechanical fitting work and hands on involvement with a wide range of rotating equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high quality workmanship and enjoys working in a busy, engineering focused workshop.Key Responsibilities. Dismantle, rewind, reassemble, and test AC/DC motors, pumps, gearboxes, and associated equipmentCarry out incoming inspections to identify electrical or mechanical faultsRecord all relevant data relating to motor characteristics, condition, and serviceabilityPrepare and inspect reusable parts, ensuring they meet required standardsOperate specialist equipment including winding machines, test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, ovens, grinders, cranes, forklifts, brazing units, and hand toolsComplete all job documentation accurately, including photographsEnsure all work is completed ..... full job details .....
