EICA Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer - Water
Salary: Up to £55,000 - £65,000 per annum - DOE (+ package, details below)

Working Arrangement: Predominantly site-based, with occasional home working
We are working with an established contractor within the water sector who is looking to appoint an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of projects across the Untied Utilities framework.
This role would suit an EICA biased Project Engineer '' relevant experience, ideally with experience in the water or utilities sector. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both the design and delivery/build stages of projects, taking responsibility for ensuring electrical works are technically sound and delivered effectively on site.
Key Responsibilities
·Support the design, coordination and delivery of electrical works across Southern Water projects.
·Review and develop electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation.
·Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, designers and the wider project team.
·Provide technical input throughout the design and construction stages.
·Ensure electrical installations are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
·Identify and resolve technical and engineering issues during project delivery.
·Coordinate design changes and ensure these are communicated effectively to site teams.
·Assist with procurement and selection of electrical equipment and subcontractors.
·Monitor quality, programme and progress of electrical works on site.
·Support testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
·Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with client and company requirements.
Experience Required
·Electrical engineering background with over 5 years'' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role.
·Experience working across both electrical design and construction/delivery.
·Previous experience within the water sector would be highly advantageous.
·Experience working for a contractor or design-and-build organisation would be beneficial.
·Good understanding of electrical installations, equipment and associated engineering standards.
·Able to interpret and review electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
·Comfortable working closely with site-based construction teams and subcontractors.
·Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to manage projects and technical issues from design through to installation and completion.
