EICA Design EngineerLocation: StaffordshireSalary: Negotiable, dependent on experienceJob Type: PermanentThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an EICA Design Engineer to join an established engineering team working across a range of multidisciplinary infrastructure and engineering projects.This is an opportunity for an experienced or developing EICA/Electrical Design Engineer to take ownership of practical, buildable EICA design solutions, working across electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems.You will work closely with design managers, site teams, suppliers, contractors and clients to develop safe, efficient and commercially robust engineering solutions.The role would suit an engineer who enjoys solving practical engineering problems, influencing design decisions and delivering technically sound solutions throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver preliminary and detailed EICA design across various project stages.Develop electrical, instrumentation, control and automation design solutions.Produce calculations, drawings, schedules and technical documentation.Develop and maintain appropriate engineering and design standards.Develop cable schedules, block diagrams and single-line diagrams.Produce electrical layout drawings, including cable routes and ducts, using CAD software.Develop motor, instrumentation, drive and load schedules.Develop hardwired interlock schedules.Develop I/O schedules, functional design specifications and ..... full job details .....
