The Role


We are seeking an experienced Principal EIA Consultant to support the coordination and delivery of environmental inputs for major EIA projects. These projects span large-scale infrastructure and major development, including transport, renewable energy and property.

You will work closely with internal environmental specialists and design teams to embed environmental considerations throughout all stages of project developmentandmdash;ranging from early strategy and feasibility to detailed design and post£consent support.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary EIA inputs
  • Managing the production of screening and scoping reports, consultation materials and Environmental Statements
  • Working across multiple consenting regimes, including Development Consent Orders and Town andamp; Country Planning
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and sub-consultants
  • Preparing fee proposals and contributing to business development
  • Providing oversight and support to junior team members
  • Ensuring high£quality environmental outputs and integrated design solutions

A key part of this role is effective engagement with diverse stakeholder groups and collaboration with technical specialists to ensure environmental issues remain central to design and development decisions.



Core Skills andamp; Experience


We welcome applicants with experience in EIA, environmental management, planning or permitting, and encourage candidates with comparable backgrounds to apply.

Essential experience includes:


  • Degree-level qualification in EIA or a related environmental discipline
