EHS Supervisor

EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Supervisor Salary - £40,000-£60,000 per annum (dependant on experience) Hours Full time, permanent contract. Mon-Fri We are currently recruiting for an EHS Supervisor, to be based at one of the client s biggest sites in the North of England. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known, globally based environmental consultancy. In this role, you will be required to supervise and lead the EHS programmes, which will include: combine site presence with strategic influence, work closely with plant leadership and central EHS functions to ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and embed a strong, proactive safety culture across the site. Additional responsibilities include: Always providing an excellent level of customer service, mainly in the assisting of insurance related queries and administrative policies.Provide visible, hands-on EHS leadership through regular site presence, inspections, audits, and reviewsEnsure full compliance with UK environmental, health, and safety legislationLead and maintain site EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 certificationDevelop and implement site-specific EHS strategies, objectives, and KPIsDeliver engaging EHS training for employees, contractors, and leadership teamsLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actionsManage environmental permits, water discharge consents, and regulatory reportingOversee waste management programs (hazardous ..... full job details .....
