The RoleAs the Environmental, Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all HSE legislation, maintaining management systems and promoting best practice across the site. Working closely with managers and employees, you will lead initiatives that support continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesPromote a positive HSE culture ensuring compliance with current legislation Maintain and develop HSE policies and proceduresCarry out workplace inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, produce reports and implement corrective actions.Conduct Risk and COSHH assessments and support departments in reducing workplace risks.Coordinate emergency response plans, fire safety procedures and evacuation drills.Chair ..... full job details .....
