EHS Manager - Specialist Contractor - London

GDS Partners are recruiting a Health and Safety Manager on behalf of a leading Specialist Roofing and Cladding Contractor for a permanent position covering projects across Greater London. About the client: Our client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality roofing, cladding, and waterproofing solutions across commercial, residential, and refurbishment projects throughout Greater London. They have built an excellent reputation for quality, reliability, and safety, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality performance across all projects. About the role: Multi-site role covering projects across Greater London. Join a growing and well-respected specialist contractor. Salary of up to £65,000 + package. Permanent position with excellent long-term career progression. Main duties will include, but not be limited to: Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple projects. Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation and company procedures. Review and monitor RAMS, permits to work, and other Health and Safety documentation. Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks. Provide practical Health and Safety advice and support to site management and operational teams. Monitor Health and Safety performance and prepare reports where required.
