The Opportunity

PFF Packaging is looking for an experienced EHS Manager to take ownership of Environment, Health & Safety across our two manufacturing sites in Keighley and Sedgefield.

•  Lead the EHS strategy across both manufacturing sites.
•  Ensure compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
•  Manage risk assessments, audits, inspections, safe systems of work and corrective actions.
•  Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, driving effective root cause analysis.
•  Lead environmental compliance, waste management and pollution prevention initiatives.
•  Develop and deliver EHS training, inductions and toolbox talks.
•  Provide EHS performance reporting and advice to senior leadership.
•  Drive continuous improvement and embed EHS into operational decision-making.
•  Maintain readiness for customer, internal and regulatory audits.

What You'll Bring

•  NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
•  CMIOSH, or actively working towards Chartered Membership.
•  Proven EHS experience within manufacturing, FMCG or a similar operational environment.
•  Experience managing EHS across multiple sites.
•  Strong knowledge of UK H&S and environmental legislation.
•  Experience with risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis.
•  Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills.
•  Ability to work autonomously and build effective relationships at all levels.

Desirable: NEBOSH Environmental Certificate, IEMA, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, EMS experience and formal accident investigation training.

If you're ready to take ownership of EHS across two manufacturing sites and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today.
