Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) ManagerLocation: HeyshamJob Type: Interim ContractDuration: Minimum 3 months with potential for extensionHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00, flexibility available)Rate: 31.00 per hour We are currently recruiting for an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our client''s busy manufacturing and industrial operation on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive EHS professional to play a key leadership role within the business, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a positive safety culture across the site. The RoleAs EHS Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of environmental, health, and safety management across the site. Working closely with operational teams and senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, develop and implement EHS strategies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include: Managing and maintaining the site''s EHS management systems and programmes.Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety legislation and industry standards.Acting as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.Supporting operational teams with risk assessments, audits, inspections, and safety initiatives.Leading investigations into incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.Managing relationships ..... full job details .....
