EHS Lead

EHS Lead - Data Centre
Duration: 6 Months (with potential to extend)
Daily rate: -600 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Northwest London - Onsite

This interim position, supporting a major Microsoft data centre project, involves providing senior health and safety support to the General Contractor (GC) during the final stages of construction. You will strengthen existing management systems, address key compliance gaps, and ensure robust safety controls are embedded across the project. The project has approximately six months remaining, with potential for further extension.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the GC in strengthening and implementing health and safety management systems.
• Identifying and addressing underlying compliance and management system gaps across the project.
• Developing and improving processes for permits, lockout/tagout systems, working at height, and other high-risk activities.
• Providing hands-on support to ensure safety controls are effectively implemented across construction activities.

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive senior health and safety experience within major construction projects.
• Strong experience developing, implementing, or improving health and safety management systems.
• A strong understanding of high-risk construction activities and associated control measures.
