EHS Engineer Port Glasgow Manufacturing EnvironmentMRD Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an EHS Engineer on behalf of a well-established, global manufacturing organisation based in the Port Glasgow area.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Environmental, Health and Safety team, with a strong focus on environmental compliance, continuous improvement, and driving a positive safety culture across site.The RoleReporting into the EHS leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the business meets all environmental, health and safety regulations, while supporting the development and continuous improvement of EHS systems and processes.This role has a strong emphasis on environmental compliance, alongside broader health and safety responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and UK legislationSupport the development and improvement of EHS systems, reporting, and processesManage and maintain the incident reporting and investigation systemConduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits across siteMonitor and ensure compliance with ISO14001 and ISO45001 standardsMaintain PPC permits, including emissions monitoring and reporting to regulatory bodies (e.g. SEPA)Support COSHH documentation and safe systems of workDeliver EHS training and promote a strong safety cultureDrive continuous improvement initiatives across environmental and safety performanceManage waste programmes and environmental objectivesAbout ..... full job details .....
