EHS Coordinator

Job Title: EHS Coordinator (HandS) Location: Basildon Salary: 35,000- 40,000pa Hours of work: day shift Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00 / Friday 8:00-13:00 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent AMLR are looking for an EHS Coordinator to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment. Key responsibilities for EHS Coordinator: Support compliance with EHS legislation, company standards and site procedures. Conduct workplace inspections, internal and external audits and risk assessments. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Coordinate EHS training, inductions and awareness activities. Maintain EHS records, reports and performance data. Support emergency preparedness, fire safety and occupational health programmes. Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safe working practices. Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements for EHS Coordinator: NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and risk assessment processes. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO50001 is desirable. You should have sincere concern for the health and wellness of all employees.
