EHS Advisor
NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for an EHS Advisor for our client, who are a global power technology company, working on a flagship UK interconnector project. Site EHS Advisor Location: Kent Major UK Power Project Contract role: Outside IR35 Role Purpose Site EHS Advisors are responsible for providing primarily operational Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) support to the Site Manager and site organisation. Key Responsibilities and Duties Formally and publicly accept the role to provide visible, strong and active EHS leadership within the project, acting as a champion for zero harm, environmental protection, sustainability, and wellbeing. a) Dispatch PhaseVerify hazardous substances and chemicals are stored in appropriate locations.Ensure chemical assessments are available at the point of storage.b) Construction / Installation / Commissioning Phases Site InspectionSupport site management by ensuring all required notices are prominently displayed.Initiate fire risk assessments for site premises.Ensure any missing EHS equipment is identified and obtained.Site MobilisationEnsure the Construction Phase Plan, Traffic Management Plan (TMP), Emergency Response Plan (ERP), Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and permits are available on site.Establish and maintain EHS project files and folders.Appoint project EHS Safety Representatives.Ensure meeting minutes are displayed on notice boards and uploaded to project files.Safe Systems of Work (SSoW)Support site ..... full job details .....
