Job Title: EHS AdviserLocation: ClitheroeContract: 12 months SRG are working with a global chemicals and sustainable technologies company who are seeking an EHS advisor to join their team. Job purposeTo support, maintain and implement and (co)develop improvement plans and contribute to the development of policies, procedures and guidelines at the site locations in line with business needs that supports the overall company and site EHS and Quality strategic goals and legislative requirements. To maintain site EHS and quality management systems.Principal accountabilitiesEHSUnderstand the requirements of new and existing EHS legislation to maintain and develop the site environmental, health and safety monitoring procedures and other site procedures:Support site EHS monitoring, and encourage a positive and proactive EHS cultureReview, maintain and develop new and existing site EHS policies and proceduresOrganises/Develops/Delivers effective training of relevant EHS areas/disciplines to ensure that required standards are embedded.Advise and assist managers and their teams to comply with company and site EHS, safety and quality policies, systems and legislationProvide EHS support and liaison for plant shutdownsAudit site procedures to the requirements of ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001Control of waste management documentation paperwork and duty of care external audits to fulfil legislation requirementsLiaise with and organise external providers such as occupational health, emissions ..... full job details .....
