EHCP Officer
We are looking for motivated and compassionate EHCP Officers to join our team. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by producing high-quality social care advice for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).This role is particularly focused on children who do not currently have an allocated worker within the Trust, ensuring that all children receive equitable, timely, and child-centred support.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete social care advice for EHCPs in line with statutory requirementsUndertake telephone assessments with families and professionalsGather, analyse and record accurate information using Trust systemsLiaise with parents, carers, professionals and partner agenciesManage a caseload of referrals, ensuring deadlines are consistently metApply a child-centred and strengths-based approach in all workSignpost families to relevant Early Help and support servicesMaintain clear, timely communication and share advice with familiesIdentify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concernsMain AccountabilitiesDeliver high-quality work in line with the SEND Code of Practice and statutory timescalesEnsure accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all records and communicationEffectively manage workload and competing prioritiesPromote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young peopleWork collaboratively across services to achieve the best outcomes for childrenOther activities ..... full job details .....
