Pay: -90110 per day
Full-time/ Term Time only
Barking and Dagenham, North London

As an Educational Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with teaching staff to help deliver tailored support, promote independence, and ensure that every learner is able to access the curriculum effectively.
Educational Support Assistant Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
* Assist teachers in the delivery of differentiated lessons.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to teaching and SEN staff.
* Support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of students.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external agencies where required.

Educational Support Assistant Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally in an educational or support role).
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children''s learning and development.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
* A valid enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
