Educational Psychologist - GM (Face to Face)

We''re working with a Local Authority in Greater Manchester who are looking for experienced Educational Psychologists to support with statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality psychological advice and input as part of the EHCP process
• Carry out in-person psychological assessments to understand learning needs, emotional wellbeing, and barriers to progress
• Write clear, accessible, and child-centred statutory advice that supports the EHCP decision-making process
• Work collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals, keeping the child or young person''s needs at the centre
• Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties by recommending evidence-based strategies and interventions
• Provide consultation and training for school staff, helping to embed inclusive practices and build capacity

What We''re Looking For:

• A postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
• HCPC registration (essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to build trust with families, schools, and colleagues
• Prior experience of working with children and young people in education, with a passion for improving outcomes

Job Details:

• -1200 per completed assessment
• Face-to-face assessments required (in-person in Wigan)
• Hybrid flexibility for reports and follow-up work
• Outside IR35
