Locum Educational Psychologist Hybrid Working 9-Month Contract 646.35 per day Aatom Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Locum Educational Psychologist on behalf of Local Council. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Educational Psychology Service, helping the Local Authority meet its statutory responsibilities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining home working, school visits, home visits, and office-based work. Key Responsibilities Complete Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) allocated by the Principal Educational Psychologist. Undertake face-to-face assessments of children and young people where required. Produce high-quality, evidence-based psychological advice to support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Complete assessments and reports within agreed statutory timescales. Liaise effectively with parents, carers, educational settings, and other professionals. Gather and analyse assessment data to inform recommendations and outcomes. Submit reports for quality assurance in line with service requirements. Support the Local Authority in meeting its statutory SEND obligations. Requirements Essential Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
