Education Swimming Teacher

GLL is looking for a School Swimming Teacher, to work at Gosforth Leisure Centres. As a School Swimming Teacher, you will play a key role in developing our customers'' swimming skills. You will deliver safe, consistent school swimming lessons that give people real confidence in the water - and an invaluable life skill. As an experienced School Swimming Teacher, you''ll thrive on supporting people to achieve their potential, taking a pupil''s nature and needs into account. School Swimming Teachers draw on their knowledge of practices, progression, and teaching points and apply it in the most effective way. Naturally, there''ll be some administration involved, but rest assured that almost all of your time will be spent doing what you do best, teaching people to become stronger swimmers, whether in a group or one-to-one, and from children to adults. We''re looking for School Swimming Teachers who are approachable, with the friendly, patient nature needed to build people''s trust, motivate pupils, and encourage with praise. You''ll need to be STA Award or Certificate level or Swim England Level 2 qualified and ideally have the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches.
