This role will play a key part in ensuring education infrastructure keeps pace with housing growth, with a focus on strategic development and the delivery of sufficient school places. The Role Working within the Place Planning function, you will lead on education place planning activities, developing robust evidence to support school place requirements, negotiating developer contributions and helping to ensure education infrastructure is delivered at the right time to meet demand. Key responsibilities include: Leading education place planning for strategic housing developments. Negotiating education mitigation and Section 106 developer contributions. Developing and maintaining pupil forecasts, capacity assessments and evidence bases. Preparing reports, briefings and business cases for senior leaders and elected Members.
