In this pivotal role, you will shape educational strategy, drive quality assurance, and lead a high-performing team focused on equipping adult learners with the skills, confidence, and accredited qualifications needed for successful reintegration and employment upon release. What You Will Be DoingStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute the prison''s education strategy aligned with Ministry of Justice and organizational priorities, driving a culture of educational excellence, innovation, and rehabilitation.Operational and Resource Management: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of all educational and vocational programmes, managing timetables, staffing levels, physical resources, and departmental budgets to maximize impact.Quality Assurance and Ofsted Readiness: Implement robust quality frameworks, conduct classroom observations, analyze learner achievement/attendance data, and lead self-assessment reporting (SAR) in line with Ofsted''s Education Inspection Framework (EIF).Team Development and Wellbeing: Lead, mentor, and inspire tutors, lecturers, and support staff; conduct performance reviews; and foster a supportive, inclusive working ..... full job details .....
