Education Funding Specialist

Purpose

1. To be responsible for the strategic oversight of-the Dedicated Schools Grant and, in addition, its interface with general Council funding in enabling the education division to carry out its work effectively.

2. To support the Assistant Director in shaping local policy development and implementation in line with Council priorities.

3. To be responsible for the leadership and management of specialist financial services to schools, ensuring that the financial stability of maintained schools-is in accordance with DfE School Funding arrangements.
