Education Case OfficerRate: 300 per day (Umbrella) Contract: Initial 3-month contract with strong potential for extension Location: Fully Remote WorkingThis is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience managing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), working within statutory timescales, and supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for parents, carers, young people, schools and professionals throughout the EHCP process, ensuring a person-centred approach is maintained and positive outcomes are achieved for children and families.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the named point of contact for parents, carers, children, young people and professionals throughout the EHCP process.Prepare and maintain high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in both draft and final form, ensuring statutory requirements and deadlines are met.Manage a caseload of children and young people with SEND, ensuring appropriate educational placements and support arrangements are secured.Attend meetings, reviews and case conferences to resolve disagreements and facilitate positive outcomes for service users.Respond promptly and professionally to casework enquiries from families, schools and partner agencies.Support the preparation of Local Authority cases for SEND Tribunals, ensuring documentation meets legal requirements.Work collaboratively with schools, health ..... full job details .....
