Prior experience of supporting young people that have had a difficult upbringing and additional learning needs is essential for this role as you will required to work within a challenging school environment throughout the day, supporting young people aged between 12 and 16 either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Some of the students have Autism and ADHD and others have SEMH / trauma-based needs. Your role will be to support their learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This role of Education Behaviour Mentor is full-time, Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 4.30pm on a term time basis starting on 1st September 2026. This role could become permanent. The daily pay rate is between -95 and -110 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) depending on experience. The role of Education Behaviour Mentor is very rewarding and quite challenging.
