We provide veterans with life-long, life-changing support, jobs and training opportunities, regardless of circumstances, rank, length of service or reason for leaving. Brief role description The young people programme supports young people from Forces families aged 16 to 24, particularly those who are disadvantaged, affected by mobility, at risk of becoming NEET or who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The programme aims to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and build skills and confidence. It connects young people with meaningful employment opportunities through a combination of one-to-one mentoring and employment support, group workshops, employer events, digital training, work experience and apprenticeships. As part of a small team, the Education and Skills Liaison will lead on engaging, developing and managing relationships with schools, youth and community groups, military charities, the MOD Education Team, the SCiP Alliance, Families Federations, HIVE and other key stakeholders to advocate for children and young people from Forces families.
