Education & Support Staff Interview Day - September Start Vacancies

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire

Salary/Rate: Competitive Day Rates (Dependent on experience/qualifications)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent / Temp-to-Perm

Interview Date: Thursday 25th June 2026

Are you looking for a rewarding new role in education starting this September?

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a qualified Level 2/3 Support Worker, or a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kickstart your career, we want to hear from you.

We are partnering with a fantastic SEMH school in the Blackburn area to host a dedicated Recruitment & Interview Day on Thursday 25th June.

We are entirely solution-focused and committed to finding the right fit for both our schools and our candidates. Rather than traditional classroom trials, this day will consist of formal interviews and meetings, allowing us to safely open up the talent pool to high-quality candidates who are currently in work, as well as those awaiting final compliance checks.

For the right candidates, full on-site training will be provided, and we are offering summer team-teaching opportunities to ensure you are fully supported, confident, and ready to hit the ground running this September.

Key Roles Available:

Level 2 & Level 3 Teaching Assistants / Behaviour Support

Psychology Graduates (SEN / Pastoral Support pathways)

Cover Supervisors & Learning Support Assistants

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Supporting Teaching and Learning, OR a degree in Psychology (or a related social science field).

Experience: Previous experience working with children or vulnerable young people is highly desirable, though passion and transferable skills are highly valued.

Attributes: A resilient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach to supporting student engagement and behaviour.

Availability: Must be available to attend the interview day in Blackburn on Thursday 25th June and be looking for a September 2026 start.

Benefits & Training Provided:

Summer Bridging Programme: Access to team-teaching and on-site training over the summer holidays to prepare you for September.

Compliance Flexibility: Candidates currently in employment are highly encouraged to apply; we can conduct initial interviews while your compliance and vetting checks are being finalised.

Clear Career Progression: Dedicated pathways from graduate or entry-level support into specialised SEN or pastoral roles.
