Primary ECT Supply Teacher - Daily & Long-Term Roles - Bury

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Early Career Teachers for primary supply work throughout Bury. We have opportunities for day-to-day supply, as well as longer-term assignments for ECTs who would prefer to work with the same class and school over an extended period.

Daily supply offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in different primary settings without committing to a permanent position. You could be working in Reception one day and Key Stage 2 another, depending on your experience and the vacancies available.

Schools will generally provide information about the class and any planned work for the day. You will be expected to deliver lessons effectively, follow school procedures and create a calm environment where pupils can continue their learning.

We''re looking for ECTs who can:

• Step confidently into different primary classrooms
• Follow lesson plans and school expectations
• Establish positive relationships quickly
• Manage behaviour appropriately
• Support pupils across a range of abilities
• Adapt to different school environments
• Work professionally with teachers and support staff

If you enjoy the flexibility of supply but would like the opportunity to work in one setting for longer, long-term placements are also available. These can offer greater continuity and allow you to become familiar with a class, school team and curriculum.

To join our supply team, you''ll need:

• QTS or eligibility for QTS
• Primary teaching experience, including placements
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Strong communication skills
• A positive approach to classroom management
• Flexibility and reliability
