Enthusiastic Economics Teacher Wanted in Hounslow! Forward-Thinking Secondary School Location: Hounslow Role: Economics Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver forward-thinking and engaging Economics lessons at Key Stage 4 and potentially A-Level, incorporating contemporary economic issues and trends.
• Inspire students to develop an understanding of current economic challenges and forward-thinking solutions.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Economics curriculum with forward-thinking and innovative approaches.  
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion of current affairs and forward-thinking economic perspectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Economics at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge of economic theories, models, and current economic debates.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire forward-thinking perspectives in students.
• A commitment to fostering a deep understanding of economic concepts and their relevance to the future within a supportive and forward-thinking setting.
