What You''ll Be Doing The Economic Analyst will report directly to Senior Statistician and will be responsible for: Oversee research and evaluation projects to assess the impact of services on users and the wider UK population. Manage internal stakeholders to understand requirements and develop relationships with external stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify evidence gaps and new impact assessment opportunities. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, including complex datasets, to ensure the economic impact findings are robust. Collaborate with partner agencies to design and deliver high-quality primary data collection to support the research needs of projects. Analyse and synthesise complex information and data, applying economic analysis knowledge while being aware of the limitations and risks. Develop a thorough understanding of the impact of services on customers/users, including both monetary and non-monetary benefits. Write reports and present findings to a range of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. What You''ll Bring To be successful in this role, you''ll need: A degree in economics or a related field with at least 2 years'' experience in an economic analysis role, such as policy analysis and economic impact assessment. Knowledge of the principles of the HMT Green and Magenta Books, with practical experience in assessing the impact of policies or services.
