Moonpig . We’re on the lookout for a data-driven eCommerce Trading Manager to join our team at Buyagift and Red Letter Days. In this role, you’ll take ownership of online performance across 2 categories – using data, insight and optimisation to drive sales and enhance the customer journey.This is a hybrid role so you must be able to work 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our London office (Farringdon).Key Responsibilities
Own trading performance for your categories, analysing KPIs such as revenue, margin, AOV, conversion, and trafficOptimise on-site merchandising: from navigation and product placement to search performance and funnel efficiencyBuild and maintain forecasting models to identify growth opportunities and flag commercial risksDevelop and execute promotional plans in collaboration with Marketing and BuyingPartner with Buying on range planning by identifying gaps and supporting decisions with insightTrack competitor activity, pricing, and wider market trends to inform trading strategyCollaborate across UX, supply, and marketing teams to improve site experience and campaign effectivenessCreate clear, actionable reports on category performance and share recommendations with stakeholdersAbout you
Experience in ecommerce trading or online merchandising, with hands-on use of web analytics or reporting toolsProven ability to forecast commercial performance and make data-led decisionsDemonstrated success in delivering trading results and improving conversionSkilled collaborator – confident engaging with stakeholders across Marketing, Buying, UX and beyondExcellent communication and organisational skillsExperience shaping pricing and promotional strategies is desirableFamiliarity with forecasting tools or models is a plusUnderstanding of range planning in a multi-brand or multi-category ecommerce environmentA proactive mindset and high attention to detailInterview Process
