Ecology Advisor

Ecology Advisor Salary: 40k- 45kPermanent position Onsite work: Glasgow (35-hour week) Responsibilities: You will implement the environmental elements for the compliance management system, including environmental policies, risk assessments, procedures and guidance notes, and will communicate these to internal and external parties.Responsible for implementing the operational aspects of the companies Sustainability Strategy, focussing activities on the Workplace, Marketplace and Community.Provide specialist advice on sustainability and environmental legislative and contractual compliance for the project.Manage the project''s Environmental Management Plan, Emergency Response Plan, Environmental Risk Profile and Aspects and Impact register.Develop within the environmental management platform a project specific Environment and Sustainability Threats and Opportunities profile.Implementing and continuous improvement of the business compliance management system to the ISO 14001 standard for the site.Required experience: You need knowledge of Ecology or Environmental Advisory.You must be willing to travel and have a full UK driving license.You must have an Environmental or Ecology Qualification.
