Working as an Ecologist for this client will expose you to a plethora of engaging projects across the UK that are sure to keep each day interesting and your existing skillset expanding. As the new Ecologist on the team, you ll be joining the Birmingham office and wider West Midlands and Northern Ecology team, working with like-minded individuals to deliver developments aimed at promoting biodiversity and protecting existing wildlife. The ideal Ecologist will be available to work in a hybrid manner, splitting their time between home, the Birmingham office and being out in the field to contribute to nationally significant projects whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Responsibility: As the new Ecologist on the team, your responsibilities will consist of: Leading field surveys and analysing and interpreting results. Producing and assisting with reports based on data gathered from field surveys and license applications. Mentoring junior/graduate team members and supporting senior team. Assisting with business development, managing your own portfolio of clientele within the Midlands and UK region.
